Solar gates and barriers are ideal for entry points located far away (in some cases miles) from your power supply. Our solar automatic gate systems make economic sense when extending power to a distant perimeter point is too expensive. Our solar powered gates and barriers are the same high-quality as all our powered installations; they just run off the sun’s power, even on cloudy days.
The most important factor when considering a solar automatic gate installation is the daily amount of use the gate or barrier will receive. You don’t need large amounts of solar energy stored up if your gate is only used once or twice a day. But many movements will need more solar power storage and larger solar panels.
We survey your site and use this expected usage data to assess the battery power needed for your installation. This survey will also ensure you get the correct style and size of gate or barrier, together with any additional requirements, like remote control operation or keycode entry.
